Window Latches
CPSC #01-231, 13Sep01. Andersen Corporation is voluntarily recalling for in-home repair tilt latches on about 400,000 windows. The latches on the lower sash of the window can unexpectedly open, posing a potential injury hazard to consumers who can be struck by the window or by shattered glass.
Window Blinds
CPSC #01-023, 1Nov00. To prevent the risk of strangulation to young children, the recall involves millions of window blinds with pull cords and inner cords that can form a loop and cause strangulation.
Storm Doors
CPSC #00-066, 14Feb00. About 23,000 New Cole Sewell storm doors, with upper windows manufactured without retaining pins, can fall out and could injure; sold from 6/1/99 through 8/16/99.
